Guys this is a collection you need to keep in mind when it is time to buy suits for your career.  Victor & Rolf are offering a variety of styles just in this one collection.  Remember plaids, stripes, and colors are your friends.  If you want to be forgotten put on the traditional blue pant suit, but if you want to make a statement when you walk into a meeting don’t be afraid of a rust color, skinny tie, or herringbone design.  For evening the suit jacket could simply be replaced by the leather jacket and this will take you from happy hour to the club.  I know I know these are expensive suits, but look at them as a long term investment or remember what you like about the suits and try to find the same idea in a less costly version.  Happy shopping!

Do you actually do MBA-related posts? Why is your blog linked on Hella’s list?

    Soni,

If you look at the history of my blog you will see I do do MBA post.  I just decided to do some different post through fashion. If you read these post you will see it is advice on how to dress for interviews and post-MBA careers.  Through the emails and comments I have received many people have found my advice helpful, but not everything is for everybody.  I hope you enjoy my advice.

I think I would be more interested in these suits if the model did not look so nerdy.

I love the rust colored suit with the vest. I don’t care too much for the watch chain in gold; maybe a silver or platinum would be better. Or perhaps even in red or other ‘artificial’ color or a pattern. But who wears pocketwatches nowadays?
